SFAI requested a catalog for their graduating class, along with event brochures, wayfinding and event signage, and commencement collateral. Tradition asked that we include the names of each individual on the cover. Rays had never been done before, and seemed a fitting way to represent them going out into the world, with the Institute as the source. The idea of emanating was carried throughout the book through the strong vertical colored spine and typography oriented towards strong axes.

Variations on the ray theme were carried throughout all end-of-year events -- with subtle palette variations used to indicate MFA or MA events. ​
